Internet / Email Activity
Students will participate in a research Internet activity. Students will need to log on to the Internet using their user name and password. In Kidspace, students need to click on the envelope to access their email account, and then open the email sent to them by their teacher to access the link to the activity. Students will also need to open the attachment to type their answers into. Below are teacher instructions to send the email activity to a whole class.

Note: * Students will need to know how to log on with their user name and password and how to access the Kidspace portal if it is not set as the home page. * Students will need to be shown how to open an email sent to them by double clicking on it. * It would be advisable to complete the activity first as a whole class – go through all the instructions, show students how to open an attachment, save an attachment and send an attachment.

This means up to 30 emails will be returned to you - if you do not wish to reply to each individual email then repeat the steps 4-11 to send one email to email the whole class thanking them for their efforts.
