Early Stage One - Email Tasks - COGs Unit: Products and Services - Island Life: Needs and Wants

Printout for teacher programs

Get ready for life on a tropical island. Pack things to take to the island. Look at the consequences of your choices. Notice that overlooking essential items may lead to sickness, rubbish build-up or crumbling buildings. Recognise that some of the choices are 'wants' that may look tempting, but choosing 'needs' is better for survival. This learning object is one in a series of three objects.

Note:
* Students will need to know how to log on with their user name and password and how to access the Kidspace portal if it is not set as the home page.
* Students will need to be shown how to open an
email sent to them by double clicking on it.
* It would be advisable to complete the activity first as a whole class – show students how to navigate through the activity.
